Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently holds a Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education General or Adapted Curriculum as well as meet additional special education certification requirements as outlined by the PSC;
• Understanding the IDEA due process procedures;
• Knowledgeable in the development of Individualized Education Plans;
• Ability to effectively teach grade level standards while incorporating appropriate accommodations/modifications for students;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse population;
• Possess integrity and high standards of ethics
